Battleground 2024 will be on Saturday 23rd November, at Middlesbrough Sports Village, Middlesbrough, TS4 3AE
The Battleground show, established in 2009, started life as Smoggycon, and was organised by Stuart Johnston and the Middlesbrough Gamers Club. From 2013, Pendraken Miniatures took over the organising of the show, with the aim to build on the excellent foundations already in place.
For 10 years (2014-2023), the show was held at the Queens Campus Sports Hall in Stockton-on-Tees, where we continued to grow to over 800 visitors.
And then for 2024 we moved over to the Middlesbrough Sports Village, a bigger venue that allows us the space to continue growing Battleground into one of the premier wargames events in the country.
Our main aim is to constantly improve the show, making it into one of the major shows in the north of England. We hope you'll come along and join us for a great day out!

Pendraken have over 10,000 products on their website, covering all scales and genres and including over 4500 codes for 10mm wargaming. With paints, bases, brushes, decals, flags, scenery, buildings and more, there's something there for everyone!
Based in Middlesbrough, UK, their shop is now open on Skippers Lane Ind. Est (TS6 6HD) and they can often be seen on the show circuit, attending a variety of shows across the UK.
