NEW VENUE!

The Battleground wargames show has moved to the Middlesbrough Sports Village, Middlesbrough, TS4 3AE.  This new venue is conveniently located just off the A174, making it easily accessible from all directions.  There's space for 300 cars in several car parks, plus a hotel less than half-a-mile away and both train and bus stops within easy walking distance.  There is no cash point on site though, so we recommend bringing cash along, especially if you'll br browsing the Tabletop Sale!

For those travelling from further afield, there is a Premier Inn hotel less than 1 mile away, over the road from the James Cook Hospital.

Also nearby is Stewart Park with extensive walks, mini-zoo and the Captain Cook birthplace museum: https://www.middlesbrough.gov.uk/leisure-culture-and-parks/parks-and-green-spaces/stewart-park/.  And a little further along the road is Ormesby Hall, a National Trust property with gardens and a small cafe: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/north-east/ormesby-hall
